Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable services to customers in the oil and gas industry. This position performs quality assurance testing on products, prepares laboratory reports, and provides technical support related to additive selection and fluid design.

Perform laboratory quality assurance tests on products and materials.
Prepare accurate laboratory reports prior to service delivery at the wellsite.
Maintain laboratory equipment in clean, safe, and working condition.
Ensure laboratory waste is properly and regularly disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements.
Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers.
Conduct regular laboratory audits to ensure operations comply with required standards.
Perform risk assessments before tasks and jobs to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and support continuous improvement through action plans.
Participate in HSE and quality initiatives.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and consistently follow HSE policies and procedures.
Maintain all required safety training and certifications.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, laboratory performance, and overall quality.

Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts, including both day and night rotations, is critical.
Prior experience working in a chemical laboratory environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow established safety procedures and laboratory protocols.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.
Associate degree or high school diploma
Bachelor’s degree (technical or science-related)

21 - $23 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
