Job Summary The Department of Urology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is currently recruiting a research faculty member with a PhD, MD or MD/PhD for a tenure-track Associate, or Professor Position. The successful candidate will have a recognized focus on Urologic Oncology. The primary appointments will be in the Department of Urology and the NCI designated, Markey Cancer Center. Upon arrival to UK, the faculty member will be expected to conduct innovative, rigorous, grant-funded research and engage in scholarly activities (peer-reviewed publications, presentations, etc.). The position will also support the broader research effort within the College of Medicine and UK. The faculty member in this position will support the College’s mission and goals to increase research efforts, assist faculty and residents in developing research protocol in the college and provide mentoring support of faculty and residents’ research efforts.

The University of Kentucky serves as both a tertiary care center for patients with complex Urology illnesses and also as a local/regional referral center for patients within our community and surrounding areas.
