WAREHOUSE INVENTORY PERSON

TEKsystems is looking for a Warehouse Specialist for our client in the DMV market. The client is one of the largest telecommunication vendors in the area. The role involves maintaining inventory, coordinating with project managers for reserved materials, labeling, organizing, vendor coordination, and overall warehouse ownership at the Perry Hall location.

Responsible for monthly inventory counts and audit of Dynamics.

Receive inventory requests from PMs and determine crew material needs.

Pick needed materials and place them in designated spots for foremen (aerial and underground).

Communicate with PMs and foremen regarding daily material transfers.

Maintain organization of materials and ensure item numbers are visible and readable.

Transfer material to correct project in Dynamics and work with PMs for project numbers (computer skills required).

Check out and check in material daily.

Act as main point of contact for any additional daily material needs.

Willingness to learn forklift/front-end loader equipment; current training is a plus.
