A Material Handler (pick/pack/ship) performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. 1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $16.60/hour Duties and Responsibilities Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production. Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack. Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification. Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals. Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes. Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Basic computer ability. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus. Clerical skills. Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Warehouse environment.
