Clinical Nurse - Observation Unit
The Clinical Nurse/Registered Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Observation Unit to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. Job Title: Clinical Nurse - Observation Unit Schedule/Shift: Full-Time / 36 hours weekly / Night Shift
As a Registered Nurse you will :
Provide direct nursing care to oncology, med/surg, and hospice patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
Participate in discharge planning, pain management, and palliative care coordination.
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with care team
Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN) preferred. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
