ID: 63593138 Shift: 18:00-06:00 Description: Description:MUST HAVE UT LICENSE/COMPACT AT SUBMISSION Hospital: Timpanogos Regional Hospital Location: Address: 750 N 800 N Orem, UT 84057 Unit Name: Emergency Department Building: Emergency Department Cost Center: 780 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 16 Patient Ratios : 3-4:1 or 1:1 for trauma/critical patient Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Type of equipment : Bd insyte IVs, Documentation system: 36 hours 06-18 or 18-06 (2 weekends a month) Floating policy: No RN s unless cross-trained float to ED Patient Experience requirements: Hospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Ultrasound IVs (preferred, not required) EKGs, breathing TX, digit blocks, knowledge of chest tube, central line, LP set up. Administration of TNK Procedures performed on unit: Peripheral IV insertion, ultrasound-guided IV insertion, IO insertion management, central line dressing changes, blood/urine specimen collection, blood culture collection, End tidal CO2 monitoring, 12 lead ECG acquisition, defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion (assisting) Transcutaneous pacing (assisting) Belmont rapid infuser operation, MTP implementation, Splint application, hemorrhage control, tourniquet application, wound irrigation, IV medication administration, blood product administration, procedural sedation monitoring, medication titration, Broselow/Panda system utilization, peds IV insertion, foley cath insertion, straight cath insertion, etc. Certifications Required: see above Dress Code: (Required uniform) Navy Blue scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
