Experienced Night Shift Emergency Department Nurse
Schedule
This position requires a night shift schedule from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) nurse to join our team. The ED features 48 treatment spaces with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Assess patients, develop care plans, and implement interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current state nursing license.
ED nursing experience preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
