Charge NurseTo provide supervision, leadership, and direction, ensuring safe, efficient operations and a high-quality patient care experience.Accountable for the coordination of nursing services in the assigned clinical area (endoscopy or infusion)Practices within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and approved Center policies and proceduresResponsible for daily operations of the assigned clinical area (endoscopy or infusion)Ensures operational efficiency through monitoring staffing needs, schedules, and patient loadEnsures safe and efficient patient flow within the procedure area or infusion suiteResponsible for direct patient care: assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients to provide optimal care pre-, during-, and post-procedure or throughout the infusion experienceDirect staff in patient care activities of the assigned clinical areaSupport and guide nursing staff in delivering patient care within procedural settings or infusion care deliveryPromotes and supports patient/family-centered careMaintains a safe environment for patient care during procedures or infusion therapyEnsures compliance with AAAHC accreditation standards, CMS regulations, and all applicable standards of nursing practiceImplements updated policies as directed by the Director of NursingMay receive daily clinical direction from assigned leadership or physiciansAssist Manager in maintaining medications, supplies, and emergency equipmentEnsure daily facility checklists are completeCoordinate with other locations to manage patient load and staffing needsOversee weekly staff schedules and assignmentsParticipate in training, development, and orientation of staffActs as a liaison and resource for staffMaintains patient confidentiality and privacy standardsCommunicates effectively with all members of the healthcare teamPerforms other duties as assignedGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current license to practice in the State of OhioMinimum of three years recent and relevant clinical experienceCurrent ACLS & BLS certification requiredKnowledgeable in gastroenterological nursing or infusion therapy in an ambulatory care settingEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsMeets physical demands defined as HEAVY workAbility to lift, move, and assist patients and equipment as requiredWorks in a clinical environment supporting procedural services or infusion servicesExposure to standard healthcare conditions and equipmentEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
