Nurse Hospital Care - Surgery RN

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as a Med/Surg RN and help provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care to individuals and families in our medical‑surgical unit. In this casual role you will work with a collaborative care team in a supportive rural hospital environment where your clinical judgment, compassion, and teamwork make a meaningful difference every day.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to develop and implement patient‑centered plans of care.

Provide competent nursing care and education based on patient acuity and clinical judgment.

Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and plan‑of‑care updates accurately and timely.

Participate in quality improvement, evidence‑based practice, shared governance, and ongoing learning.

Support education of nursing colleagues and students.

What You Will Need Current valid Wisconsin RN license

BLS certification required

ACLS certification required

Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment

Commitment to patient‑ and family‑centered care, safety, and teamwork

Ability to collaborate, delegate appropriately, and support a culture of caring

Competitive hourly compensation based on years of experience and qualifications ($38.96 to $58.72 per hour)
