Tooling Engineering Tech

Responsibilities Make and re-grind tooling to close tolerances used on machines throughout the operation. Check vendor tooling on a limited basis, repair fixtures, jigs and tools utilizing complex prints and interface with engineering. Required to visit shop floor and troubleshoot. Selects materials, standards and methods to be used. Knowledge of the general production system is a must. Must maintain the highest degree of quality, safety, cost reduction and customer service continuously.

Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent.

Journeyman’s card in Tool and Die, or equivalent experience.
