Head of Project Management (Remote)

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. In this full-time position you will work out of our Eichleay office in Ferndale, WA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for projects ranging from small to mid-size capital engineering & procurement projects. You will be responsible for the projects from proposal development through construction support and close out, establishing and executing projects that comply with the contract terms, and ensuring the safety, value, quality, timeliness of the project delivery.

Work Arrangement: 3 days onsite in Ferndale, WA, 2 days remote *option to work from home Monday and Friday. Lead and manage small to mid-size capital engineering & procurement projects (up to $60M TIC) from proposal through closeout, including fabrication and construction management.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams; Prepare engineering project proposals for new projects or the next phase of a project.
Lead meetings with clients, contractors, and internal staff.
Manage and control the project's cost and schedule by ensuring that effective project controls are in place including the change management system.
Forecast resource needs on projects, using Eichleay internal systems.
Capture and apply lessons learned throughout project lifecycle.
Frequent travel to nearby refinery site as required.
Accredited four-year Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical field from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
A minimum of eight (8) years related experience with a minimum of four (4) years project management experience in heavy industrial, complex engineering projects.

Location: 3 days onsite in Ferndale, WA, 2 days remote *option to work from home Monday and Friday. Advanced understanding of capital project delivery and execution across all project phases, including FEL, detailed design, and construction support.
Strong command of project controls, including scheduling, planning, estimating, cost management, forecasting, and change management.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex workstreams in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
In-depth understanding and application of phase-gate project delivery processes, including project funding and approval frameworks.

Travel: Travel outside the area is expected to be minimal, less than 10%
HHFT Safety Training and current card or ability to obtain.
Client Safety Training and current badge or ability to obtain.
TWIC Certification and current card or ability to obtain. TWIC card must be obtained prior to start date or start date may need to be adjusted.
Background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification.

Overtime may be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekdays and weekends.
Job duties will be performed at a client site, production facility or industrial/construction job site.
Candidates will be required to follow our clients' site-based rules and protocols regarding infectious diseases.
