Part Time Advocate

At Youth In Need, we value community and relationships. As a Family Advocate , you'll serve as an advocate for children and families enrolled in our program by developing and maintaining relationships to promote socioeconomic mobility, family wellness, family development, and parent involvement to engage families and support their efforts to achieve overall positive family outcomes and school readiness for children. This position works with a variety of Youth In Need's Childcare Partners in St. Youth In Need has been around since 1974 helping to create safe places for the area's most vulnerable children. We have more than 400 full- and part-time staff who serve more than 8,000 children, teens and families at nearly 100 locations in six counties in Eastern Missouri. Youth In Need has been named a St. We are nationally recognized by the US Department of Health and Human Services as an exemplary program. We are interested in Family Advocates with a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Social Work (or related) or Family Development Credential (YIN can help you obtain this!), and more than one year experience working with high-risk families.

This is an hourly position starting at $16.67/hour.
