Sonographer (Full Time - Ultrasound
Consumer Directed Services
Seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and assist physicians with procedures such as biopsies and amniocentesis.
Key Responsibilities Include
Assisting physicians during procedures, ensuring sterile techniques, and determining optimal puncture angles.
Generating quality images via computer processing or film, evaluating image quality.
Documenting patient clinical information accurately in verbal and digital formats, maintaining examination records.
Managing supplies, operating ultrasound equipment, and selecting appropriate technical settings based on patient needs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Two years of diagnostic or ultrasound experience or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program (registry eligible) with certification in Diagnostic Sonography by ARDMS within one year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certification in Diagnostic Sonography by ARDMS preferred.
This role offers an opportunity to work within a large healthcare system, contributing to patient diagnostics and care. The position may be full-time or PRN, depending on the location, with competitive compensation.
