Runner (Afternoon/Evening Shift)

Busser Position

We are a leading player in the hospitality industry, dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring our team members are at the heart of our success. As we continue to expand our presence in the industry, we are seeking a passionate and talented Busser to join our team.

As a Busser at Mother Tucker's Tavern, you will be responsible for providing our guests with best-in-class service, product, and entertainment. You will continually assist servers to enhance the guest experience while anticipating additional needs to ensure each guest has a memorable and unique visit to our venue. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a positive and productive work environment for the team while upholding the highest standards of service that define our brand.

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately

Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff

Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)

Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins

Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)

Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed

Inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check)

Experience as a Busser or similar entry-level role in a restaurant

Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules

Availability to work various shifts, including weekends

Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
