• 8 or 10- hour day shifts
• Minimum of 2 shifts per month required
• Float to metro sites, including Minneapolis and Coon Rapids based on staffing needs in accordance with the MNA Contract; opportunity to pick up sifts at all three sites

Manages patient care infusion encounters by utilizing a systematic approach to nursing practice that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary hematology/oncology care team members, along with internal and external ancillary partners, in a fast-paced environment. Dedicated to the growth and development of the Allina Health Cancer Institute, incorporating evidence-based practice initiatives that align with ONS, NCCN, COC, and organizational standards of care.
Delivery of chemotherapy, biotherapy and supportive care to hematology/oncology patients in accordance with Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards, and Allina Health Cancer Institute Policy.
Collaborates with health care team in order to coordinate and maintain continuity of care.
Administrative tasks including indirect nursing activities which promote quality patient care.
Documentation of care per Allina Health Cancer Institute policies and practice.
Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing
~1+ years of ambulatory oncology RN experience with proficient IV insertion skills; or 3+ years inpatient chemotherapy/biotherapy infusion or ICU experience

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

• 1+ years Phlebotomy skills
• 1+ years experience EPIC EMR, including Beacon application

Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation must be obtained within 3 years of hire required for those hired before April 1, 2024; Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. Pay Range: $42.92 to $66.83 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
