Registered Nurse, RN - Ambulatory Care Surgery Center

RN Pre-Op

We are seeking a qualified RN for our pre-operative unit. Experience in day surgery or pre-operative care is essential. Both adult and pediatric experience is preferred, with a priority on adult experience.

The unit has a total of 22 beds and a staff of 41. Staffing includes charge nurses, pre-op RNs, post-op RNs, and patient care technicians. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 in pre-op and a maximum of 3:1 in post-op. Expected procedures include general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedic scopes. Candidates must work two Mondays and two Fridays each scheduling period. Self-scheduling is available, although adjustments may be made based on unit needs.
