Pizza / Prep and Line Cooks

Pizza Perfect in Bellevue, TN is calling all food connoisseurs interested in becoming a Pizza Restaurant Line Cook to apply to join our amazing team full- or part-time ! This Pizza Restaurant Line Cook position works a flexible full- or part-time schedule and earns a competitive pay of up to $22 an hour, based on experience, includig tips. We provide our restaurant employees great benefits and perks, including 50% off meals at any of our restaurants and flexible schedules. Since 1983, Pizza Perfect has been making handmade pies and baking them to order in gas-fired ovens. All menu items are prepared by hand, from scratch, in our own kitchen. We've been regularly voted the "Best Pizza" in Nashville, and our excellent food is second only to the exceptional customer service we provide.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to do quality work and further their career as a Pizza Restaurant Line Cook. Are you interested in improving your food prep and line cook skills? As a line cook employee, you will promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Perfect Pizza.

Before you begin cooking, you inspect, clean, and maintain food prep areas, including equipment, work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.

Using methods like tasting, smelling, or piercing, you observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. As you work with various kitchen equipment you follow kitchen prep rules, policies, and procedures.

You will estimate expected meal consumption, requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from storage. You continually check for quality, keep track of old and new items, rotate stock, and maintain sufficient levels of products at line stations to support a smooth service period.

You will assist your teammates with food prep during peak periods, substitute for other cooks during emergencies, help to close the kitchen, coordinate with fellow employees to meet guests' needs, fill in where needed, run orders, and supervise staff to ensure proper workflow.

At the end of the day, you feel great about putting your cooking skills to great use and keeping our customer's bellies full.
