Restaurant Crew Members Full Time & Part Time

Sourdough & Co. is a fast-casual restaurant known for artisan sandwiches served on authentic San Francisco sourdough bread. Our Progress Ridge Townsquare restaurant is the first Portland metro location and is locally owned and operated. We are passionate about great food, genuine hospitality, and building a team-oriented restaurant that positively impacts both guests and the local community.

At Sourdough & Co. at Progress Ridge, our Team Members help create the kind of experience that keeps guests coming back. From preparing quality food to delivering friendly service and supporting teammates during busy shifts, this role is essential to the energy and atmosphere of the restaurant. Work across multiple stations including cashier, sandwich assembly, salad/flatbread prep, and back bar/meat station

Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service

Take customer orders and process payments accurately using the POS system

Help maintain fast order turnaround times while ensuring food quality and accuracy

Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies throughout the shift

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

Keep workstations, dining areas, and restaurant spaces clean and organized

Assist with opening, closing, and shift transition responsibilities

Communicate effectively with managers and teammates regarding customer needs, food safety concerns, or operational issues

Support teammates and jump in wherever needed during busy periods

What We’re Looking For This role may be structured as either full-time or part-time depending on candidate availability, experience, and operational needs. Flexibility in scheduling and availability is highly valued, particularly during the restaurant’s opening and early growth period.

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to follow direction and restaurant procedures consistently

Comfortable using restaurant technology including POS and scheduling platforms

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift

Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards

Active Food Handler's Card required (or ability to obtain one upon hire)
