Psychiatric Registered Nurse - Inpatient Contract Position. Assignment Duration: This is a 13‑week contract position.

Schedule
Days - 12‑hour shifts, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Registered Nurse with at least one year of recent psychiatric experience to join our inpatient treatment team. The facility operates an inpatient treatment program focused on mental health and substance abuse issues for adults and older adults.

Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient setting.

Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

Utilize paper charting for documentation of patient care and progress.

Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience.

CPI certification preferred.

Experience with paper charting is required.
