Inpatient LPN or RN- Full Time- Days

Job Summary: The primary nursing responsibilities would involve providing care and support to clients who are undergoing treatment for substance use disorders. The role of the nurse is crucial in helping clients through the detoxification and recovery process while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Assessment and Monitoring: Monitor and assess client health conditions, including withdrawal symptoms, physical and mental well-being. Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by medical providers in an inpatient setting.
Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Work with medical providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
Respond to emergencies and crises within the facility, such as code blue, overdose situations, or clients experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms. Provide immediate medical care and interventions to stabilize clients and ensure their safety.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including client assessments, medication administration records, and progress notes. Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to client confidentiality and record-keeping.
Help clients develop coping skills, set goals for recovery, and navigate challenges they may face during treatment.
Quality Improvement and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in addiction and mental health treatment. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including infection control protocols, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients.
Other duties as assigned within the medical/nursing department.
Completion of LPN or RN program required, certificate or diploma is required.
Valid LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio.
1 or more years of experience in recovery and/or behavioral health.
