Manufacturing Engineering Systems Support

Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer will lead new product launches from concept through production in a manufacturing environment This role is responsible for developing scalable manufacturing processes, driving Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives, supporting product validation, and ensuring successful production readiness.
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from engineering release through production launch.
Review designs, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure manufacturability.
Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, BOMs, routings, and production documentation.
Coordinate prototype builds, pilot runs, validation testing, and product qualification activities.
Develop tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
Support DFM reviews and recommend design improvements that reduce cost and improve reliability.
Partner with Quality teams on PFMEAs, Control Plans, FAI, and PPAP activities.
Support customer technical reviews, production transfers, and engineering change management.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or product engineering.
- Strong knowledge of DFM, Lean Manufacturing, process development, and continuous improvement.
- Experience creating manufacturing documentation including BOMs, work instructions, process flows, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and engineering change processes.
- CAD experience (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred.
