Our technology platform enables us to serve clients more effectively and cost-efficiently, offering advisors who join Farther as employees a high payout of wealth advisory fees while maintaining low personnel costs for acquired practices.This role combines M&A expertise and execution excellence to drive Farther's acquisition strategy within the RIA space. You will be responsible for evaluating and executing M&A opportunities with retiring advisors and RIA firms.Your Impact Lead end-to-end M&A processes, from target identification through deal execution and integrationWork with internal and external sourcing resources to build the industry's best acquisition go-to-market strategy, leveraging the Farther platformDevelop compelling business cases for sellers while generating strong economics for the companyCreate comprehensive valuation models and committee memorandum and conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisitionsStructure and negotiate complex deal terms that align with Farther's strategic objectivesDesign and implement post-merger integration strategies to ensure successful transitionsCollaborate with operations, product, recruiting, finance, legal, and compliance teams to execute deals efficientlyBuild an industry network and cement Farther as the acquirer of choiceThe Ideal Match 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A advisory, private equity, or investment bankingMBA from a top-tier institutionStrong understanding of finance principles and deal constructionProven track record in executing M&A transactionsExcellence in relationship building and stakeholder managementStrong financial modeling and valuation skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate persuasively and discuss economics with potential sellersResilient and results-oriented approachBonus Points Previous experience in the wealth management industry or RIA aggregatorDirect experience with succession planning for financial advisorsExperience with post-merger integrationNetwork within the top 20 RIA aggregatorsAdditional relevant certifications (CFA, CFP, etc.)Industry experience (helpful but not required)Why Join UsCompetitive comp package that rewards impactWork alongside some of the brightest minds in fintechGround-floor opportunity at a fast-scaling startupChart your own growth path as we expandFull health benefits + 401(k) matching & Roth IRA optionsUnlimited PTOReady to disrupt wealth management?
