Job Description:

• Shift: 10H Days: Sun, Tue, Wed, Thur; 0830 - 1900
• Unit: PT/OT/ST
• Beds: 189 total
• ICU: 20 beds
• Telemetry: 34 beds
• Medical 5th Floor: 34 beds
• Surgical 6th Floor: 34 beds
• Medical Unit 7th Floor: 34 beds
• Mother and Baby Units: 33 beds
• Average Hospital Census: 150 patients

- Outpatient Center:

• Distance: 2.5 miles (8 min drive one way)
• Services: OT, ST home health clients at Mercy

- Certifications Required:

- BLS

• CA license for PT, OT/ST
• EMR System: Cerner B (upgraded version)

- Leadership Team:
- Therapy Leaders:

• 1 Lead Inpatient Therapist
• 1 Therapy Supervisor
• 1 Director of Rehab Services

- Staff Composition:

• Therapy Aides/Licensed Staff
• 3 Outpatient

• OT Hand Therapy
• ST Pediatrics
• Floating: Yes, required in various settings (IP/OP/HH)
• Orientation: General department orientation with skills checklist and assigned clinician

- Additional Notes:

• JCAHO certification for Stroke (NIH certified)
• Elective hips and knees (TJP)
• Early mobility programs and vent early mobility level 2

- Location:

• 1 hour to Yosemite
• 2 hours to Monterey Bay, San Francisco, Sierra Nevada range
• Service area population: 70K+
