Teacher: Primary - Union Hill School 2026-2027
As a teacher in the Worcester Public Schools you will be expected to provide rigorous instruction to the diverse population of students in your classroom. You will align your teaching to the district and state curriculum, regularly assess students for learning comprehension, and modify your instruction to ensure that students are learning. You will create a classroom that is conducive to the learning needs of all students, especially those who are learning English and students with disabilities.

Mentor students’ understanding of the curriculum and adjust instruction, materials, or assessments when appropriate.

Promote equity and appreciation of diversity, ensuring equitable opportunities for student learning. Implement specific strategies for students with special needs, 504 plans, and second language learners.

Bachelor's Degree

Teaching experience in the content area

Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs

Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, or an African language
