Member Services Representative Full Time Clerical Newark, NJ, US

Salary Range: $16.50 To $18.00 Hourly

About the Role: The Member Services Representative plays a crucial role in fostering positive relationships between the organization and its members by providing exceptional customer service and support. The representative will serve as the primary point of contact, guiding members through various processes and offering information about products, services, and policies. Accurately process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.

Provide a warm welcome and offer financial support to educate our members.

Post transactions to members’ accounts.

Open, perform maintenance, and close accounts.

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred previous banking experience (credit union or bank).

Proficient computer/technical skills.

Must speak English and Portuguese or Spanish.

Lobby/Professional office environment with moderate sound.

Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - Must have transportation in order travel to other branches, off-site training, or meetings as needed.

Assist members in person and by telephone.

Ability to accurately count cash and handle members' transactions.
