RN/LPN - Family Medicine - DanvilleDanville (LLC) - Danville, IL 61832Salary Range $22.94 - $44.55 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift 1st Shift Education Level 2-Year Degree Category NursingGeneral Summary of DutiesChristie Clinic's department of Family Medicine in Danville at The Riverfront is seeking a full-time RN or LPN with varied hours from Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm as 5, 8-hour shifts or a 4,10-hour shift schedule. Duties include the provision of professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.Job Qualifications and Expectations(This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with nursing standards and as directed by provider.Prepare equipment and aid provider during treatment, examination and/or testing of the patient.Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to medication and/or treatment to provider.Act as a liaison between the patient and provider regarding complaints, concerns, etc.Instruct patient and family regarding medication, treatment instructions and patient education.Demonstrate the ability to respond to triage calls using nursing assessment.Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit.Maintain relevant office supplies for department effectiveness.Perform related work as required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from an accredited school of nursingEvidence of annual completion of health-related courses and/or seminars with a certificate and/or CEU's.CPRIllinois RN or LPN licensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Professional nursing experience.TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting. (Amount varies by department) Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required.TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is performed in a clinical setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, hazardous waste, bodily fluids, and other waste common to a health care environment. Ionizing radiation and medicinal preparations are also common. Requirements may include working irregular hours.PAY AND BENEFITS:The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria.
