Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health
Location: Hickory, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Behavioral Health to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive care for patients with mental health disorders in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work flexible hours and may have the option to work 48 hours per week if desired.
Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered nursing care to adults with various behavioral health conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate records using EHR systems.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues.
Participate in regular training and remain current with behavioral health practices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license and BLS certification required.
Experience in Behavioral Health preferred.
Handle with Care training is a plus, but training will be provided.
