Claim Processor Work from home

Marsh McLennan Agency’s Midwest Region is a full-service brokerage providing business insurance, employee benefits, private client insurance, and retirement services to businesses and individuals across the country. As our Claims Representative on the TPA Services team, you will support the coordination of communication among clients, claim examiners, insurance carriers and captive managers. Processing and tracking claims by verifying information, helping clients by reporting claims per the client Special Handling Instructions, maintaining a high degree of data integrity in the system, and keeping communication clear and timely to avoid errors
Handling specialized tasks including completing escrow funding requests, overseeing Medicare reporting and NPDB reporting, managing daily credentialling and loss runs requests, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, reviewing defense counsel invoices and making adjustments based on each client’s litigation guidelines and overall contributing to the development of internal claim procedures
Previous experience supporting Claims Examiners and internal teams in executing client strategies to deliver value and efficiency, while processing client-requested changes accurately and documenting them properly
Familiar with building strong client relationships through clear communication and insurance knowledge, collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely service, and managing workload effectively to meet client needs and service goals
Strong communication with Claims team members and provides timely and complete information to allow effective management of service execution

2+ years of experience in claims handling within an insurance agency, carrier, or TPA.

• BA/BS degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite

The applicable base salary range for this role is $37,600 to $70,200. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
