Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary A TELEMEDICINE (TELE) Medical Surgical Float Nurse is needed in an acute care setting within the healthcare provider. This role involves providing exemplary patient care within a dynamic environment, supporting multiple local campuses, and potentially floating across various units to meet operational needs. Job Details Position: TELEMEDICINE (TELE) Medical Surgical Float Nurse, Telemetry and Medical Surgical specialty, working in an acute care facility. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Iowa and Illinois state licenses, at least 2 years of experience, BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications, Drivers License, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, copy of certifications, and supervisory reference at the time of submission. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines; familiarity with medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban. Additional Information: Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, or in Madison with a 10% rate reduction. The role may require working 1-2 of 3 major summer holidays. Orientation sessions are scheduled multiple times throughout the year, with specific dates listed. Submission Requirements: Two years of prior experience, at least one travel contract completed preferred, current licensure, and all designated documentation and references must be provided.
