As an Insurance Authorization Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing insurance claims, obtaining pre-authorizations, and communicating with patients and providers to resolve any issues that may arise. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims. Your excellent communication skills will also be crucial in building strong relationships with patients, providers, and insurance companies.

Review and process insurance claims to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Obtain pre-authorizations and verify patient insurance information

Communicate with patients and providers to resolve any issues related to insurance claims

Research and resolve discrepancies in insurance claims

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance claims and authorizations

Collaborate with other members of the medical records department to ensure efficient and effective processing of claims

High school diploma or equivalent required
