Registered Nurse (RN) Medsurg/Telemetry (Hospital)

Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Tele IMC
Location: Portland, ME
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week.
Job Description: This is a float pool position for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) required to float across multiple units, including Medical, Surgical, and Cardiology within the facility. Candidates must have acute care hospital experience and be willing to provide care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care in a float capacity across various units.
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EMR (EPIC).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Level 1 Trauma acute care hospital experience is required.
• 1 year of travel experience preferred.
• Valid RN License in the State of Maine is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred; BLS certification is required.
