Full Time LMFT - Remote position

The Growing Health Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time remote position that allows you to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals, couples, and families. As a remote organization, we provide a flexible and supportive work environment, ensuring our therapists have access to the necessary resources and technologies to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Conduct regular sessions with clients, effectively addressing issues related to family dynamics, relationship struggles, and individual mental health challenges.

Facilitate group counseling sessions for families and couples, providing education on emotional regulation, negotiation, and collaborative problem-solving.

Work alongside other professionals in the mental health community, such as psychiatrists and counselors, to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client's treatment plan.

Connect clients with community resources, including housing assistance and financial counseling, to support their journey toward stability and wellness.

Participate in professional development workshops, sharing knowledge and strategies for stress management with colleagues across various fields.

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as relationship discord, mental health issues, financial stress, and domestic conflicts. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

A valid professional license to practice therapy in the state of Pennsylvania.

Completion of a supervised internship in marriage and family therapy, ensuring practical, hands-on experience.

A compassionate and approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to client-centered therapy.

Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

Proficient in using telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions, embracing technology to enhance client engagement.
