Job Title: Pipe Welder
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to oversee welding, pipe fitting, and material handling tasks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding techniques, pipe fitting, and material handling, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
Conduct welding tests on 3\" sch. Perform GTAW (TIG) welding and additional testing in GMAW and FCAW on 6\" carbon pipe in the 6G position.
Read and interpret welding symbols and WPS documents accurately.
Assist with pipe grinding, cutting, beveling, shipping, loading/unloading, and material handling using stand jacks, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
Pass a 2\" monster coupon test in the 6G position and perform root and fill to flush welding.
Assist fitters with pipe and fitting preparation.
Proficiency in GTAW (TIG), GMAW, and FCAW welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and WPS documents.
Experience with welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
Capability to operate stand jacks, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts for material handling.
Construction, installation, and fabrication experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Duncan, SC.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
