Job Description:

Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level?
Join our very high acuity unit where you will encounter a diverse range of challenging cases, including:
Strokes
Cardiovascular diseases
Diabetes management
Wound care
Behavioral health issues
Sepsis cases
Some trauma (note: this is not a trauma-designated unit)
Security is onsite 24-7 for your peace of mind!
Work the MIDS shift from 12 PM to 12 AM, starting ASAP!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide both routine and complex care independently.
Use the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families.

Requirements:

* Current RN License in state of employment or compact.
* Certifications:

BLS via AHA
ACLS via AHA
PALS via AHA

* TNCC

De-Escalation
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.

Position Highlights:

Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within 30 days.
Enjoy initial onboarding with a designated preceptor.
Participate in a residency program or specific orientation for newly licensed RNs.
Complete all annual competency verification requirements as part of your professional growth.
