Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 1.5+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment working across adult and pediatric critical care settings.
Details

• 13-week travel contract at a major university hospital
• Works across multiple units including PICU, ED, and adult critical care, with potential float to additional units based on skill set and hospital needs
• Mixed adult and pediatric patient population
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend requirement (Friday/Saturday)
• Procedures include blood gas analysis, ventilator/BiPAP/high flow initiation and management, code response, in-house transport, medication administration, and chest PT
• Equipment experience with Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements
Current RRT credential (NBRC required)
Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience
BLS required
ACLS, PALS, and NRP highly preferred; may be obtained onsite
PICU/NICU experience highly preferred
Two current professional references required
SSN and DOB required for consideration
NURSYS and state license verification required
Copies of certifications required

All time off requests must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended
Former employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
