Human Resources Generalist - Payroll/Recruitment (Full Time)

Job Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Compensation: $55,000-$65,000/DOE + Benefits and Bonus Opportunity

BBSI has partnered with a growing multi-site logistics and distribution organization to identify a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support warehouse operations in Houston while also assisting additional East Coast locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced 3PL, warehouse, or distribution environment and enjoys supporting both people operations and administrative functions across multiple sites.

This role will serve as a key support partner to warehouse leadership, staffing agencies, and employees by helping drive recruiting coordination, onboarding, compliance, employee support, and HR administration across multiple locations.

Support full-cycle recruiting coordination, including interview scheduling and candidate communication

Partner with staffing agencies to manage hiring flow and workforce needs across multiple locations

Maintain accurate employee files, HR records, and compliance documentation

Assist with employee relations support and day-to-day HR needs

Help ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and OSHA standards

Support audits, reporting, performance processes, and general office administration

5+ years of HR experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or 3PL environments required

Experience with recruiting coordination, onboarding, and employee file management

Experience working with staffing agencies

Knowledge of HR compliance, payroll support, and timekeeping systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Bilingual English/Spanish required

AA or BA degree in Human Resources or related field required
