Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing leaders, quality teams, and frontline caregivers, you'll help ensure the highest standards of infection prevention across our inpatient hospital.

As an Infection Preventionist, you will serve as the subject matter expert for infection prevention and control throughout the hospital. Conduct ongoing surveillance for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) using NHSN definitions and reporting requirements.
Analyze infection prevention data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention initiatives.
Educate physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on infection prevention best practices, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based guidelines.
Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, isolation precautions, environmental cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection processes.
Assist with regulatory readiness and accreditation activities, ensuring compliance with CDC, CMS, OSHA, and The Joint Commission standards.

Bachelors + 2 years (2)
Certified Infection Prevention (CIC) highly preferred.
