Legal Affairs

Reports to: The General Counsel & Senior Corporate Counsel of SK hynix America Inc.

SK hynix is seeking a junior-level attorney to serve as legal counsel for our cutting-edge semiconductor operations in the United States. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex legal issues that require analysis on several fronts, while effectively communicating with procurement, R&D and sales departments. Work across a spectrum of complex legal, business and strategic issues

Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including procurement, R&D and sales agreements, as well as vendor contracts under a senior attorney’s supervision

Provide clear legal advice to internal teams such as engineering, sales, finance, HR and operations

Conduct legal research and factual investigations to identify commercial, regulatory or operational risks

Monitor relevant US regulations affecting semiconductor operations

Coordinate with the parent company's legal team on cross-border matters and corporate governance

Coordinate with the legal teams of various affiliates and subsidiaries within the United States

S. law school

Experience handling commercial transactions or corporate matters

Demonstrated fast learning curve with an eager, proactive attitude toward mastering complex legal and technical concepts

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders

Experience in in the semiconductor, electronics, or other advanced technology manufacturing sectors

Familiarity with export controls, tariffs, and general corporate law/ governance practices

Experience working in a multicultural / international environment

Willingness to travel periodically to other locations as needed
