Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality nursing services.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and perform assessments.
Assist in emergency procedures, such as intubations and lumbar punctures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
Document all patient interaction and care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required by start date.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department is preferred.
