CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

CNC Lathe MachinistThis role focuses on setting up, operating, and maintaining multi-axis CNC lathe machines in a precision manufacturing environment. You will run complex production jobs on a day shift, perform tool changes and offsets, edit CNC programs using G and M codes, and inspect your own work using a variety of precision measuring instruments while working with tight tolerances and multiple materials.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC lathe machines for production runs.Perform tool changes and adjust offsets as needed to maintain part quality and machine performance.Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G and M codes to ensure efficient and accurate machining.Work with a variety of materials, including steels, aluminum, and plastics, to produce precision components.Inspect and verify parts using microscopes, micrometers, comparators, gauge pins, thread gauges, and calipers.Maintain tight tolerances on parts, including tolerances as tight as +/- 0.0001 inches.Monitor machine performance and part quality throughout production runs and make adjustments as required.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
