CMM Programmer - Calypso
$28 - $38 per hour | Painesville, OH | On-Site | Permanent

1st shift, $28-$38/hr, High-Tech, High-Precision Machine Shop Environment

A growing precision manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to support quality operations in a fast-paced, high-mix aerospace environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and has hands‑on experience with Zeiss Calypso programming and dimensional inspection of tight‑tolerance components.

Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software
Perform dimensional inspections on complex aerospace components to ensure compliance with specifications
Create and implement inspection plans and documentation for production and first‑article inspections
Provide training and guidance to shop floor personnel on inspection processes and quality standards
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement or quality issues
Ensure adherence to quality procedures and industry standards within a job shop environment

Proven experience programming CMMs using Zeiss Calypso
Strong background in dimensional inspection of precision‑machined parts, preferably in aerospace or highly regulated industries
