# Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – South Carolina**Start Date:** October 12, 2026 **Location:** Charleston, South Carolina **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating schedule including every other weekend and holidays in rotation; 3 call shifts (12-hour) per 4-week period; days and nights available**Highlights:** - 1:1 patient ratio with dedicated surgical tech support per OR, turnover staff, charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage- Advanced surgical technology including XI Robot, Mako joint robot, and advanced spine equipment- 17 operating rooms supporting comprehensive surgical services including ortho, neuro, plastics, vascular, trauma, and robotic OBGYN/urology cases- Level II Trauma Center with specialized certifications in Total Joint, Heart Center, Stroke, and Cardiac Center recognition- No floating required; unit-specific assignment- Patient experience focused on AIDET methodology**Requirements:** - Active RN license- BLS certification- Thoracic and vascular experience required, including heart and valve replacements- Strong demonstrated skills in cardiac (CV/PV), AAA, coronary artery bypass graft, fem-pop bypass, and mitral or aortic valve replacement- Advanced circulating RN knowledge including positioning, prepping, and facilitating complex cardiac and vascular cases- General OR experience in ortho, neuro, plastics, vascular, trauma, and robotic procedures preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a comprehensive 313-bed acute care facility with state-of-the-art robotic technology and specialized services including a burn clinic and robotic surgery institute.
