Echocardiographer- Ultrasound

Responsibilities

Performs routine and special exams following established protocols with good diagnostic quality.

Analyzes test data and communicates findings clearly to cardiologists for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Operates, troubleshoots, and requests repairs for testing equipment to maintain accuracy and safety.

Maintains professional and CPR certification to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies.

Administers image enhancing agents as ordered to optimize echocardiogram quality.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience required: 0-1 year in healthcare ultrasound training program.

Certifications needed: RDCS by ARDMS or RCS from CCI, and BLS (CPR) from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
