Responsibilities

Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences using our play-based curriculum.
Foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Observe and document children’s progress.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Communicate daily with families through conversations and classroom communication tools.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure compliance with licensing and health & safety standards.
Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to provide the highest quality educational experience.
Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Completion of state-required pre-service training.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a professional and positive manner.
• Must meet all state licensing and background check requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary to ensure child safety and assist with classroom activities.
