Job Description Become a part of our organization’s Division of Cardiology as a Heart Failure Cardiologist, joining the only comprehensive DNV-certified advanced heart failure program in the region.

Program Overview:

Our program benefits from robust institutional and community backing, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach.

Work closely with a dedicated team of advanced practice providers and specialists in cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery.

Engage with a team that possesses extensive knowledge in cardiomyopathies, including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders.

Deliver pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients, collaborating with regional academic cardiac surgical centers in the Northeast.

Contribute to a well-established and expanding program focused on delivering innovative, patient-centered care to those with heart failure.

Qualifications:

MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.

Clinically focused with adequate research experience and teaching capabilities for an academic appointment.

Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.

Leadership skills and attributes are highly regarded.

Excellent communication abilities, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

A strong commitment to providing exceptional care to heart failure patients and advancing the field of cardiology.

Capability to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare professionals.

Eligibility for academic appointment and medical licensure in New York State.

We offer a competitive salary range with an incentive bonus potential of $350,000 to $400,000.
