Join our team at Pearl Pointe in Freeport, IL, where we are dedicated to providing high-quality Skilled Nursing services to our patients. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover and achieve their health goals.
About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to develop and implement patient care plans, conduct therapy sessions, and maintain accurate records. Your expertise will help patients improve their mobility, strength, and overall function.
Responsibilities: Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of patient care plans
Conduct physical therapy sessions with patients, including exercises, stretching, and strengthening activities
Use equipment and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Participate in patient education and training programs
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
