Substitute Bus Monitor
An employee in this position monitors student behavior and attends to the special needs of exceptional students while they are using school buses. The employee is responsible for safe operation of vehicles in the school transportation program. This employee will report directly to the Director of Exceptional Children and the Exceptional Children Transportation Coordinator.
High School Diploma or Equivalency
Must be able to work effectively with students who have moderate and severe cognitive, physical, and emotional disabilities

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Alertness: Must provide vigilant monitoring of students during the bus ride.
Courtesy: Must be polite and willing to help.
Housekeeping: Must keep bus clean and aisle areas clear.
and be friendly and sociable with customers.
Personal Appearance: Must be neat and well groomed.
Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Must learn the school bus route.

Pay Grade 51-Hourly

$15.00 per hour
