Ability to float to different areas as needed
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.
This role involves providing comprehensive care in antepartum, labor, delivery, and couplet care settings.
Nurses will perform various tasks including lab draws and newborn hearing screens.
You will be expected to follow staffing guidelines for patient ratios.
Flexibility for holiday coverage is required.
Candidates must have experience circulating, performing fetal heart monitoring triage, and completing newborn assessments.
Our unit consists of 15 beds with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms.
Trainers will provide instruction on conducting newborn infant hearing screens.
We collaborate with several support services, including respiratory services and social services.
Scrubs will be supplied to staff.
