Special Education Teacher, mild/moderate or severe certification, will provide special education services according to student's IEP for classrooms serving K-12 students with disabilities and those with similar program needs in the Davis School District.

This position will be a district-based position that will be assigned to schools around the district to provide coverage in classrooms K-12, when teachers are on extended leave. The position will be supervised by the director of special education.

The candidate must demonstrate strong instructional practices for students with disabilities, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to quickly establish positive learning environments and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Flexibility, collaboration, and the ability to adapt to a variety of classroom settings, student needs, and support teams are essential. The teacher must be an effective team member who works collaboratively with special education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and general education staff at each assigned school.

3-5 Years experience preferred
