Outpatient OB/GYN Physician - 32 Hours Per Week (Job Overview)

As a Outpatient OB/GYN Physician, you'll be joining a team that's deeply committed to improving lives and empowering women through exceptional, compassionate care. In this role, you'll provide care for women at all stages of their reproductive health journey, from pregnancy and childbirth to preventive care. Your expertise will help diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases while building lasting relationships with patients. Conduct thorough medical history reviews and physical exams to ensure comprehensive care.

Analyze diagnostic data and determine appropriate therapeutic procedures.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage acute and long-term medical needs.

Counsel patients on health promotion, illness prevention, and family planning services.

Recommend community resources to address patient and family needs.

Manage medical and surgical emergencies with skill and composure.

Participate in committees, pilot projects, and professional development activities.

Contribute to Legacy's Performance Improvement Program and uphold confidentiality standards.

Support organizational goals through accurate coding knowledge (ICD9, CPT, HCPCS).

Medical Doctorate with current licensure in the state of Texas.

Provider shall obtain, maintain and participate in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, workers' compensation, other federal and state reimbursement programs, and the payment plan of any commercial insurer, health maintenance organization, preferred provider organization, accountable health plan, and other health benefit program requested by Legacy.

Previous experience in a hospital and/or clinic setting

Expertise in high-risk pregnancy and minimally invasive gynecological procedures is preferred.
